Dealing with payroll compliance can be a time consuming task for small businesses, especially where there is no dedicated in-house payroll specialist. This is why many of our clients outsource the operation of their payroll to us.
We offer a comprehensive payroll bureau service on a weekly, four weekly or monthly basis, including:

Registration of the payroll with HM Revenue and Customs

Administration of the payroll including dealing with PAYE, National Insurance, Statutory Sick pay and Statutory Maternity and Paternity pay

Provision of a monthly summary of staff costs, dealing with regular payments and also including joiners, leavers, forms P46, bonuses, commissions, holidays, leavers and forms P45.

Preparation of the year end forms P35, P14 and P60 for online filing with HM Revenue and Customs and for employees.

Preparation of the forms P11D and P11D(b) in respect of benefits in kind – many businesses do not realise that these are due, even when there are no benefits, if expenses are claimed back from the business by employees or directors.

Application for a Dispensation to remove the requirement to report expenses on forms P11D.

Review of the remuneration package of shareholders, directors and employees.

Advising on the implementation of incentive scheme, bonuses and salary sacrifice scheme (such as for tax efficient benefits, for example, nursery fees).

Preparation of PAYE settlement agreements for employee benefits where the employer wishes to pay the tax on behalf of the employee (for example, if the limit for expenditure on staff parties has been breached).
We also offer a payroll health check service to ensure that your payroll system is set up correctly and you are dealing correctly with employee payments.
We are also able to offer assistance on an as needed basis, for example with filing your P35 year end payroll returns, or preparing forms P11D even if we do not prepare your monthly payroll.
