Christine Marsden

One of the founding partners of Marsden Walker, Christine heads up both the Tax Practice and the German Practice.
Christine was brought up bilingually, spending some of her schooling in Germany, then going on to complete business college in Germany post A Levels before studying for a joint honours in Business Studies and German at Keele University. After graduating, Christine moved to Erlangen, Germany, working at both Siemens and the Kopfklinikum before returning to England in 1994 to commence training as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in Derby.
Having specialised in tax post audit qualification and specifically in providing services to owner-managed businesses, Christine left KPMG in 2003 to set up Marsden Walker.
Since setting up Marsden Walker, Christine has specialised in providing services to subsidiaries of German speaking parent companies, dealing with both the accounting and tax issues faced by the UK subsidiary and individually by employees sent from overseas.
Throughout her working life Christine has always been active in the wider community, from her involvement with The Prince’s Trust and acting as a Young Enterprise advisor, to her current role as a non-executive Director of the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce, a role that keeps her fully in touch with the matters that concern local businesses.
